Un souvenir, un acte, ou un besoin, tous morbides et prohibés, mais qui assiègent sans relâche la conscience du sujet. Lorsque le refoulement est débordé par le passage à l’acte, cette impulsion incontrôlable s’appelle «compulsion», en amont de bien des conduites sexuelles répréhensibles.
